Resurrection Appearance to Women
The Easter miracle transforms the tragedy of the cross into Gospel (1Corinthians 15:3-4).1
As the ascension of Christ is an essential doctrine of our faith, the resurrection is an essential foundation of our faith.
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain (1 Corinthians 15:14 KJV).
The resurrection story is found in all the gospels but it is only in the Book of Matthew (chapter 28, verses 1-20) that we read about His appearance to women.
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. and they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped him (Matthew 28:9 KJV).
How blessed we are that Christ made a point to include women in His miraculous story, the very basis of our faith.
