My Valentine...Jesus

Valentine's Day could be challenging whether you're single or part of a couple. Singles may feel left out and couples going through a difficult time might feel alone on this relationship-driven day.

Whether single or in a relationship, all can celebrate Valentine's Day with the One who is the perfect Valentine, the person of Jesus Christ.

Jesus didn't knock on your heart to bring chocolates that melt, flowers that wilt or cards that fade, He came to offer the perfect gift of eternal life. He knocked on your heart so you would know true love.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (1 John 4:8 KJV)

Jesus expressed His love through His work on the cross.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 KJV)

On Valentines Day, why not celebrate with Christ, the lover of our soul? Enjoy a day of intimacy and draw closer to the One who longs to draw closer to you.

Sing - Wake up early to sing Him a song of love and praise (Psalm 30:12).
Pray - Have a special time of prayer to express your gratitude for the provision He bestows upon you each and every day (James 1:17).
Thank - End your day by thanking Him for first loving you (1 John 4:19).
